Her smile started to weaken before responding, fidgeting her hands together. “Well….I am going to the Hamilton High School in Gotham. I am an exchange student there. Helps with credits you see?”
“Oh wow. That’ll be great with credits!” Terra frowned slightly when she thought about how the girl was far from home like she was “How are you doing all the way over here? Do you miss home?
Now that Terra mentioned her home and asked if Tia missed it, the tall girl’s overall demeanor seemed to crumble a bit little by little, but being a girl raised to be polite with others and put her own emotions aside, Tia calmly looked back at the girl with what was meant to be a genuine, gentle smile, a twinkle in her eye, and a small hand gesture downward. Whether this other girl could see through it or not she hoped she would not.
“Gotham is…different than where I used to be. It is good I think, to learn from other cultures besides your own. It…makes you think larger than you usually would.”
Suddenly, her hands started to shake a bit, dropping some books she was holding, in which landed right on her white shoes, and she turned abruptly around as though there was someone behind her. Her wide blue eyes even larger than before. However, there was nothing. Only empty space and the gloomy, eerie surroundings that was Gotham.
Terra frowned, then blue eyes widened as the book fell to the ground. She bent down to pick them up for the girl and tilted her head “I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you feel bad. It was a stupid question, I’m so sorry!” She held out the books and gave Tia a sheepish smile “You….ok?” She looked around the younger girl, to see what she could be looking at, but saw nothing odd.

*laughs, holding his hands out before him like a flying superhero* I’m Green Lantern! Woo!
“OH no Green Lantern! Bad guys dead ahead! Fire!” Terra swerves the boy in the air as if to avoid enemy fire.
*gasps, then proceeds to make his own sound affects* Pew pew pakow! BOOM!
Terra drops low then stands back up. She swiftly turns him to the side “Whoa, almost got hit there! Just a few more guys! Think you can handle it??”
*keeps a determined face* Yeah huh! Green Lantern can handle ANYTHING! Pow pew pew! Kapow! Pchew pchew!
Makes sputtering noises like something wrong but the straightens him back out “You did it! Almost lost ya there, but you beat those bad guys!” Runs him in victory circle.
*thrusts his fists up, triumphant* Yeah! Good guys always win!
